Teresa Turville & Jeff Mahana
Teresa is from the tiny town of Dutton, Montana. Her parents are Wayne and Verlie Turville. She is the youngest of 5 siblings. During her high school years, Teresa was very involved in athletics and other activities. She then went to college in Havre, Montana, where she met Jeff. Teresa received two bachelor's degrees at MSU-N: Health Promotion and Business Administration. In 2014, Teresa obtained a master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, with a specialization in Forensics. Teresa is currently working on a doctorate on Psychology. Since moving to Helena, Teresa has worked for Youth Dynamics, a non-profit mental health agency for youth and families in Montana. She is currently an Associate Clinical Director and oversees 5 therapeutic group homes, outpatient services, a day treatment, and equine program in the Helena and Boulder areas. Teresa also works at a neighborhood coffee kiosk on the weekends.
Jeff is from Helena, Montana. His parents are Joyce and Bob (Debbie) Mahana. Jeff is an only-child. During his high school year, he was also very active in athletics. Jeff then went on to play college football at MSU-N. Jeff received a bachelor's degree in Secondary Education with a concentration in Social Studies and Native American studies. Jeff is recently obtained his master's degree in Exercise Science. Jeff is employed by the Helena Public Schools and teaches History at Helena High School. He is currently an assistant varsity football coach and the head wrestling coach at Capital High School (Go Bruins!). In addition, Jeff also teaches driver's ed in the summer and runs a lifting program at Capital High year-round. Jeff recently bought his first motorcycle.
Together, the happy couple built a new house in Helena in 2013. They have 3 fur-babies. Cortez the cat, and then Sable and Drax - 2 pit-bull mixes. They tend to spend their free time (what free time?) working on landscaping or finishing touches in the house, camping, and doing homework.
