How We Give Back
Flathead Travel Service is a company that cares about the greater communities around it. We are involved and encourage our people to get involved, as well. Over the years we have actively participated in several causes and organizations, including but not limited to:
- Big Brother Big Sister Program
- The Brotherhood Project
- Flathead County Library Foundation
- Museum at Central School
- Home For The Holidays – partnering with the Flathead Beacon to bring home a military personnel
- Municipal Chambers Participant
- In-Office Recycling program – encouraging greener practices and development within our corporation, as well supporting the community in those and other sustainable endeavors.
- Working with local schools and inviting groups and classrooms into the office to learn about a specific area, ask questions, give presentations on certain countries or states, and learning about the travel industry.
- Building resilience and leadership within the community, in promoting volunteerism and service, with employees donating hours of their free time in volunteer service.
- Military Awareness through advocating for military discounts where available and promoting military reunions and gatherings for active and veteran military personnel.
- Advocating and being a part of women’s organizations that work to distinguish, educate, and empower women and women-owned businesses.
- Actively reinvesting in our youth, community and state, through the support of various charities, organizations, school clubs and activities, as well as numerous donations to the aforementioned.
