GoingToSunRoadDrive the famous "Going to the Sun", the 52 mile long highway which crosses the Continental Divide and enjoy the beauty of spectacular Glacier Park. You may choose to explore the back country by horseback or on foot on one of the 703 miles of park trails. Park accommodations feature several historic hotels and lodges, or you may camp at one of several campsites. The pass is normally open mid June to mid October. Located just 30 minutes from Glacier International Airport.

Flathead Lake

EastBayFlatheadLakeThirty miles long and eight miles wide, Flathead Lake is the largest natural freshwater lake west of the Mississippi. Many water activities are available including commercial charters, boat tours and guided fishing. Water sports equipment such as jet skis and ski boats are available for rent at the many public marinas. Campgrounds and boat launches are also open to the public. Bigfork is located on the shores of Flathead Lake and Kalispell is just ten miles north.

FlatheadRiverAtPresentineBar The Flathead Valley with its numerous lakes and rivers offer many opportunities for the sport fisherman. Flathead Lake has a variety of  fish including lake trout, whitefish and yellow perch. Other lakes with excellent angling are Whitefish Lake, Lake Mary Ronan, Swan Lake, upper and lower Stillwater Lake, McGregor Lake, Thompson Lake, and Lake Koocanusa. The Flathead River and its forks are spawning grounds for bull trout and the colorful west slope cut-throat trout, while wild rainbow trout can be found in the Kootenai River. All of this and more within 90 minutes of Kalispell.
