Summit Club

The Summit Club was started in 1993 - approximately two years after Mountain West Bank opened its doors for business. We saw an opportunity to reach a mature market of customers and offer special products and services for their financial needs, as well as trips and activities within their city, state and around the world.

The criteria to become a member is simple........you need to be at least 50 years of age and be a customer of Mountain West Bank, NA. As a member, your benefits range from free or discounted banking services to perks such as higher interest rates on bank products such as:

• free interest bearing checking
• high yielding Treasury Plus account with a floor tied to Treasury rates
• bonus rates on all certificates of deposit
• 2 boxes of free checks per year
• free notary service
• free internet banking and bill pay up to 15 bills per month
• discount on safe deposit boxes

• educational seminars
• social events
• the Summit Club quarterly newsletter

And then there is the travel both near and far offered through the Summit Club. Not only does the Summit Club provide an avenue for traveling with others from your community and your state, it's a great way to meet people and make friends. Each community has its own Summit Club Coordinator who wears numerous hats. From personal banker to planner and hostess on outings, her goal is to take care of her members. It is not only good business for the bank but also good for our customers. Healthy, active relationships are formed and Summit Club members enjoy being part of the club. It is a sense of belonging, companionship and trust. We have had members reconnect with long lost friends, make new long lasting friendships, and even had the joy of witnessing friends become partners through marriage.

There are Summit Clubs in Helena, Great Falls, Bozeman, Missoula, Kalispell and Whitefish. Mountain West Bank is proud of the Summit Club.
